STLTH

Canadian closed pod system with magnetic sealed pods, plus the Titan and Box disposable lines. Formulated for the Canadian 20 mg/mL cap from the outset, with the widest pod availability in the country.

STLTH is a Canadian closed pod system and one of the most recognisable vaping brands in this country. It built its position on a simple proposition: a small device, sealed pods that click in magnetically, and a flavour range developed for Canadian taste rather than adapted from somewhere else.

The range we stock covers both halves of the brand. The STLTH 5K Device Kit at $19.99 and pods at $14.99 for three represent the reusable side, with STLTH X Replacement Pods also at $14.99 for three. The Titan 10K at $27.99 and the Box 5K at $24.99 are the disposables.

A Canadian brand, and why that shows

STLTH was developed in Canada for the Canadian market, and the effect is most obvious in the flavour range and in availability. Products are formulated to sit within the federal 20 mg/mL cap from the outset rather than being reduced versions of something designed for a different limit.

Distribution is the other consequence. STLTH pods are among the easiest vaping consumables to find across the country, which matters more than it sounds. A closed pod system is only as good as the availability of its pods, and an orphaned system is an expensive paperweight.

The brand has also iterated its pod format over time, which is the main thing to be careful about when buying replacements. Our listings name the device each pod fits.

The magnetic pod system

Pods attach magnetically rather than screwing in or pressing into a friction fit. In practice that means you push a pod towards the device and it seats itself, and you pull it straight out to remove it. There is no alignment to get right and nothing to overtighten.

Magnetic connection is genuinely more forgiving than the alternatives, and it is much of why the system feels as effortless as it does. It does have one weakness: the contacts sit exposed in the pod well, where condensation and stray liquid collect.

That is why the single most useful maintenance habit with any STLTH device is wiping the pod well with a dry cotton bud every week or so. Intermittent firing, a device that seems to have lost power, and a pod that reads as not connected are almost always this rather than a fault.

Pod formats and getting the right replacements

We stock two pod lines: STLTH Pods and STLTH X Replacement Pods, both at $14.99 for a pack of three. They are not interchangeable, and buying the wrong one is the most common ordering mistake with this brand.

Check the device you own before ordering. The packaging differs but the pods themselves look broadly similar in the hand, and once a pack is opened it cannot be returned. Our product listings name the compatible device explicitly for exactly this reason.

Three pods per pack is the standard unit across the range, which makes cost per millilitre straightforward to work out against the disposables. Our vaping versus smoking cost calculator does that comparison against what an equivalent smoking habit would have cost.

Buy pods a pack or two ahead rather than one at a time. Sealed pods keep indefinitely in a cool dark drawer, and having spares removes the temptation to keep using a pod that has already gone past its best, which is how people end up inhaling scorched cotton for a day longer than they needed to.

The Titan and Box disposable lines

The Titan 10K at $27.99 is the high capacity disposable in the range, and the Box 5K at $24.99 is the mid capacity option. Both arrive charged and filled and are discarded when finished.

Everything in our general disposable vapes guidance applies here. Compare millilitres rather than puff counts, because liquid volume is a measured fact while puff counts come from a machine that draws far more consistently than any person. A device rated at 10,000 puffs will not deliver 10,000 human puffs.

Both contain lithium cells and belong at a battery drop off point rather than in household waste. That is not a brand specific point but it applies here as much as anywhere.

The Canadian STLTH range compared

These are the five products we currently stock, with prices as listed.

On running cost, the device plus pods route is the cheaper one at any meaningful consumption, because you are not repurchasing a battery and a shell each time. The disposables win on convenience and on having nothing to charge.

Choosing between the device and the disposables

Buy the 5K Device Kit if this is going to be your everyday device. The up front cost is $19.99 and the recurring cost is pods, which works out lower per millilitre than buying a new sealed device every few days.

Buy a Titan or a Box if you want something with no charging obligation, or as a backup to keep in a bag. Plenty of people who use a pod device daily keep a disposable in reserve for exactly the occasions when they have forgotten to charge.

If you find yourself wanting to choose your own liquid or adjust the strength, a closed system has reached its limit. Our refillable pod range and vape juice selection are where that flexibility lives.

Pods click in magnetically rather than screwing or pressing, which is much of the appeal.

Getting the most from a STLTH device

Wipe the pod well weekly, as above. Beyond that, the habits that extend pod life are the same ones that apply to any sealed pod system, and they are mostly about technique rather than maintenance.

Draw gently rather than hard. A sharp pull floods the coil, wastes liquid as condensation in the pod well and makes the device gurgle. Leave a few seconds between draws so the wick can reabsorb, since chain vaping is the fastest route to a burnt taste with liquid still visible.

Keep the device out of deep cold, which temporarily reduces battery capacity and can make a healthy device read as dead on a winter commute. We cover the underlying physics in vaping in cold weather.

STLTH specific problems and fixes

A pod that will not register is nearly always the contacts. Remove the pod, wipe both the pod contacts and the device well with a dry cotton bud, and reseat it. If it works with a different pod, the device is fine.

A pod that tastes burnt from the first draw is a manufacturing variance in the wick rather than anything you did, and it is worth replacing rather than persevering with. Keep the packaging and contact our contact the team team.

Liquid in the pod well is normal in small quantities and is condensation rather than a leak. Wipe it out every few days and it will not become a problem. A device that will not charge is worth trying with a different cable first, since cables fail at the connector far more often than devices do.

How STLTH compares with other brands we stock

The closest comparison in our range is Vuse, the other major closed pod ecosystem in Canada. Both are sealed systems with a disposable line alongside. STLTH tends to have the broader flavour range and the magnetic connection, while Vuse has the backing of a very large manufacturer.

Against the Canadian disposable specialists such as Vice, Flavour Beast and Allo, STLTH competes mainly on the reusable side, since those brands lead with disposables.

Against refillable systems such as Uwell Caliburn and OXVA Xlim, the trade is the familiar one: STLTH gives you nothing to learn and nothing to adjust, and the refillable systems give you control and a much lower running cost in exchange for handling liquid.

Flavour, salt nicotine and why pods taste as they do

STLTH pods use salt nicotine rather than freebase, which is what makes a strength at or near the Canadian 20 mg/mL cap tolerable in a device this small. Salt nicotine is smoother at high strengths and absorbs faster, so satisfaction arrives sooner, which matters a great deal to anyone who has recently stopped smoking.

The flavour range is broad and leans heavily on fruit and iced profiles, which is generally what sells best in closed systems. Iced versions use cooling agents rather than mint flavouring, a distinction we explain in ice pods versus regular pods, and they tend to stay palatable over long sessions where sweeter profiles can cloy.

One practical habit worth adopting: keep two pod flavours on the go rather than one. Vaping the same flavour continuously dulls your perception of it, an effect people routinely mistake for a weak pod or a failing device. Switching for a day usually brings it back.

Canadian availability and the rules that apply

Everything here sits at or under the 20 mg/mL federal nicotine cap set out in Tobacco and Vaping Products Act. Flavour availability is decided provincially rather than federally, so the range on offer differs by province, and we track that in vaping laws by province.

We operate an age gate on every visit and ship only inside Canada, in Canadian dollars. Carriers, timings and tracking are on our shipping and delivery page, and faults are covered on our returns policy page.

Devices and pods both contain or attach to lithium cells, so when flying they must travel in cabin baggage rather than checked luggage, as Transport Canada lithium battery rules requires. Pods can weep with cabin pressure changes, so carry spares in a sealed bag. If you are vaping to move away from smoking, Health Canada quit smoking resources publishes independent support.

Common questions

Are STLTH and STLTH X pods interchangeable?

No. They are different pod formats and are not cross compatible, which is the most common ordering mistake with this brand. Check which device you own before ordering, since opened packs cannot be returned.

Why is my STLTH pod not being detected?

Almost always the contacts. Condensation and stray liquid collect in the pod well and insulate the connection. Remove the pod, wipe both the pod contacts and the well with a dry cotton bud, and reseat it. If another pod works, the device is fine.

Can I refill STLTH pods?

They are not designed to be refilled. STLTH is a closed system, which is where its simplicity comes from. If you want to choose your own liquid and strength, a refillable pod kit is the right format instead.

Is the device or the disposable cheaper to run?

The device with pods, at any meaningful consumption. The $19.99 device is a one off cost and pods are the recurring one, whereas a disposable means repurchasing a battery and a shell every few days along with the liquid.

Why does liquid collect in the pod well?

That is condensation rather than a leak, and a small amount is normal in any magnetic pod system. Wipe it out every few days with a dry tissue. Drawing more gently reduces it, since hard pulls create the pressure drop that causes it.

What nicotine strength do STLTH pods come in?

At or below the federal Canadian cap of 20 mg/mL, like every retail vaping product sold legally in Canada. They use salt nicotine, which is smoother at higher strengths and suits the low power draw of a compact pod device.
